UK & EU market entry advisory

Polaris Bridge advises founders and management teams in Lusophone Africa, Brazil and Latin America on the structuring, banking and commercial work required to trade in the United Kingdom and the European Union — and stays with the engagement until it is operating.

The problem

Most expansions fail in administration, not in the market. A company with genuine demand in London can lose a year to the wrong entity, a declined bank application and a payment stack that will not settle in sterling.

The commercial case was rarely the constraint. What was missing was someone who had done the sequence before, in the right order, with an understanding of both ends of it — the market you are leaving as well as the one you are entering.

We treat market entry as three stages with a fixed order: structure, then banking, then demand. Each is scoped, priced and delivered before the next begins, so you always know what you have bought and what remains.

What we do

Three engagements, taken in order or taken alone.

01

Structuring & Compliance

The right entity chosen, the paperwork prepared, and the filings calendar that follows it.

  • Jurisdiction and entity comparison
  • Share structure and persons-with-significant-control guidance, including director appointments
  • Preparation of your own incorporation documentation, ready for you to file
  • Referral to an AML-supervised formation agent who files the incorporation on your behalf

02

Banking & Payments

Accounts that open, and a payment stack that settles.

  • Institution shortlist matched to your residency, sector, currencies and expected volumes
  • Know-your-customer and know-your-business file assembly, including certified and apostilled documents
  • Assembling and structuring your own evidence of source of funds and source of wealth into the format compliance teams expect
  • We organise and present evidence the client provides. We do not draft explanations that are not supported by that evidence, and we decline engagements where the documentation does not substantiate the position.

From £3,200, fixed

03

Market Entry & Demand

A commercial position built for a British buyer, then the media to feed it.

  • Buyer and segment definition for the UK and EU, including who signs and who blocks
  • Positioning, proof requirements and objection mapping for a market that does not know you
  • Pricing and commercial terms benchmarked against the incumbent alternatives
  • Channel selection and a dated first-ninety-days sequence

From £5,500, fixed

How we work

A defined sequence, not an open retainer.

Every engagement begins with the same diagnostic and ends with a written handover. You are told at the outset what each stage costs, what it produces and how long it takes. Where something is outside our remit — regulated tax, immigration, litigation — we say so and introduce someone who holds the licence.

  1. 01

    Assessment

A sixty-minute diagnostic, then a written route map. Jurisdiction, structure, banking exposure, and the order the work has to happen in. No charge, and no obligation to continue.

  2. 02

    Structure

The entity is formed, registered and documented — including the paperwork banks will ask for later, prepared before they ask for it.

  3. 03

    Activation

Accounts opened, payments settling, contracts in place, and the first commercial motion live in the destination market.

  4. 04

    Operation

A filings calendar that is actually kept, media managed against agreed metrics, and a written monthly report. Or a clean handover to your own team.

On evidence

We would rather show the method than the mythology.

We publish no client names, logos or outcomes without written permission, and we will not imply relationships we do not have. Until there is something real to show, judge us on what can be verified today.

Fees published before you engage
Every tier, every price, on the Services page. You know the cost before the first call, and the figure does not move without your written approval.
A written scope for every stage
What is included, what is excluded, what it depends on and what it produces. Anything outside it is quoted separately or declined.
Registration details published
Registered office and entity type are published on the About page. The company number will be added here as soon as it is issued.
A named adviser, not a queue
You work with the person who scoped the engagement. There is no account manager between you and the work.
Next step

Request a consultation.

A sixty-minute call, at no cost and with no obligation. If there is a fit, you receive a written scope and a fixed fee within five working days.
